# Editorial Policy

> How Noometry sources numbers, writes articles, handles corrections and keeps advertising separate from rankings.
- Canonical page: https://noometry.com/editorial-policy
- Title: Editorial Policy | Noometry

Rankings on Noometry come only from the published method and public sources. Articles are fact-checked against the dataset before publication, advertising never affects rankings, and corrections are made quickly and noted.

## Sourcing

Every benchmark score and price carries its source URL and the date we read it. Where a lab reports its own score, we store the exact sentence from the model card and label the result as self-reported.

## Articles

Articles start from a verdict and back it with numbers from the Noometry dataset. Before publication, every number in an article is checked automatically against the dataset, and a person reviews the piece. We say plainly when evidence is thin.

## Advertising

Ads are labelled and placed outside tables and rankings. Advertisers cannot buy placement, change scores, or review articles before they run. Details for sponsors are on the [advertise](https://noometry.com/advertise) page.

## Corrections

Send corrections to [contact@noometry.com](mailto:contact@noometry.com) with the page and a source. Data errors are usually fixed within around a week; material corrections to articles are noted at the end of the article.
